leading out to the large outside pool - which also has a childrens

On the first floor there are 2 very good sized bedrooms with each having
it own private en-suite bathroom . One of the bedrooms again as a large
varanda overlooking the pool and garden areas. Also on the back balcony
there is a private bbq .
We also have a one bedroom apartment available in the same complex for
larger families or friends wishing to travel together . |

First and foremost,
Albufeira is famed for its beaches, for the countless shades and tones
of its rocks and cliffs.
This is a place where people live to the rhythim of the great holiday
destinations, sunbathing during the day and at sunset flocking to enjoy
the restaurants, bars and discos that enliven the night-time hours.
Just a few miles inland and everything changes. The green of the
countryside is dotted with almond, fig, orange and pine trees and
decorated chimneys stand out against the ochre of tiled roofs.

Albufeira is
spread out rather than high-rise. The town itself consists of "old"
and "new" sections which merge seamlessly into an extensive
holiday-land suburbia, spreading off back east along the coast to
Balaia, Olhos d'Agua and Falesia, and west to São Rafael, Galé and
the links golf course at Salgados. The whole area, greater Albufeira
you could call it, is the most tourist-intensive place in Portugal.
It has very little to do with the real Portugal, or with the real
planet earth for that matter, but people come here in droves and
have the time of their lives. |
